About Our Chapter
We are a diverse and dynamic chapter; our membership includes university professors, students of all ages, local music teachers, church musicians, performers, choral conductors and singers, scholars composers and music historians, clergy, organ builders, and people who just love the organ. Our yearly calendar of events includes recitals and concerts, scholarly presentations, symposia relating to professional concerns, workshops on technique and improvisation, programs geared toward youth, and the list goes on and on.
Ann Arbor AGO also enjoys long and deep ties with local arts organizations and local universities.
We at the Ann Arbor Chapter of the American Guild of Organists welcome your interest and involvement. Please enjoy perusing our website and do not hesitate to be in touch!

AGO membership is offered both through local chapters, and to individuals who wish to participate as independent members without chapter affiliation. Many chapters also offer monthly newsletters, scholarship programs, musician placement services, and substitute referrals to employing institutions. Independent members enjoy all of the same national benefits as chapter members, however, they do not receive the various benefits local chapters have to offer.
